Our company provides fiat-to-crypto conversion services to other crypto companies; I'm one of the founders.

Being a very early company, we had to build the corporate brand design from scratch and design the first UX/UI screens for the first MVP of our product. Tonik helped us on all ends here.

I worked with Tonik before at my previous company; going for Tonik a second time was an easy choice.

We kicked off the project with the brand design and created a high-level concept. With that, we started the UI/UX design of our product (a B2B dashboard). Tonik created wireframes first to cover all features of the product. In the second step, Tonik converted those wireframes in actual design files. For everything, Figma was used.

In total, we worked with three people. A project manager, a UI/UX designer and a brand designer. In the background, more people were active to support the processes.

Our frontend developer was very happy with the details provided on the UI/UX design files; also, the communication around it was very smooth and involved the UI/UX designer.

Very effective; we communicated over Slack, we had weekly check-ins and they visited us once on-site.

We had a number of designs we needed expert help on to import from Figma into Webflow. Our designs were highly interactive and ambitious, far beyond what the one touch Figma to Webflow plugin could manage. We needed support completing this as quickly as possible to meet a deadline and give our design team support.

Tonik communicated clearly and regularly throughout the whole project about how many hours we'd used, why and how and answered questions we had quickly and easily. We didn't have to utilise any new software working with them. Everything was accomplished within the time frame.

We made it clear that we were needing to accomplish the task at a specific amount of time and under a specific budget. We had weekly meetings and regular checkups as needed for different tasks. They communicated excellently and I never felt in the dark during the project as I had working with other agencies.

They had clear and fantastic communication as well as consistency with who is working with us which made it easy to maintain momentum with the project. When I had to take a vacation, they also worked well and easily with other members of my team. I felt confident throughout the whole project that it would be delivered well and on time.

They started with a discovery workshop, mapping out key user flows and setting up some hypothesis they wanted to test. Once we had some basic prototypes, we shared those with our users, gathered feedback and iterated. They then started to build a visual design system, designed all the flows, edge cases, documentation for handoff and helped us define a roadmap for v2.

We agreed to work in weekly sprints, each of them having their defined deliverables. Daily communication was done via Slack and Zoom calls.

We didn’t expect so much valuable insight outside of just design. Tonik was a tremendous help in defining our monetization and user acquisition and retention strategies.

We weren’t able to scale up the team right away when we wanted, but I understand that’s subject to availability and not entirely in their control.

In our project, we worked with a team of three individuals from Tonik. Firstly, we worked with an illustrator who was responsible for creating the visual elements of the brand identity. The illustrator had expertise in creating unique and eye-catching visuals that aligned with our brand strategy.

The workflow between our team and Tonik was super effective throughout the project. Their team was incredibly organized, communicative, and responsive, which helped us to stay on track and meet our deadlines.

One of the things that we found most impressive and unique about Tonik was how friendly and down-to-earth their team was. Despite being a highly professional and experienced branding agency, they were never pretentious or difficult to work with.

While our experience working with Tonik was overwhelmingly positive. There was perhaps 1 or 2 minor revisions that took a bit longer than we anticipated.
