Front end-development of a new stock market app designed for VR/AR. Included a UX design phase, UI development for both web and VR modes, and programming of 3D charts/data visualizations.

Successful UX design phase (100% complete). Awarded front end development phase (in progress, 75% complete). Expanded scope to include some back-end integration as well (in progress, 50% complete).

Project management includes a dedicated project manager and a consistent technical programming lead. Weekly status meetings via Zoom and regular updates via Slack. AE Star has consistently met timeline expectations and has been very responsive to changes in scope. Overall, we are very satisfied with their project management.

Scope of Work: We collaborated with AESTAR to design and develop an immersive virtual reality experience centered around advanced artificial intelligence (AI) concepts. The primary objective was to create an interactive VR solution that effectively communicated complex AI topics to diverse audiences. AESTAR provided comprehensive services including concept design, interactive content creation, custom 3D modeling, animation, user interface (UI) design, VR development, and performance optimization tailored specifically for the Meta Quest platform.

Initially, this project was planned with a much broader concept, a significantly larger budget, and a longer timeline. However, due to internal issues with our client, the project was nearly canceled. As a last attempt, we proposed a highly streamlined and focused version, dramatically reducing the scope to a two-week timeframe with a substantially smaller budget. AESTAR stepped in to execute this refined concept calmly with a better than expected result given the circumstances and delivering one day before the deadline.

Given the circumstances of this project we didnt have much time to actually set any structure such as project management. I imagine they handled this internally the same way they always do. But with me, it was far more simple... I provided a project brief, a mockup of the experience and set the deadline. We exchanged several messages for several days and they shared advances. I was able to provide feedback clearly with the help of docunments, images and videos. In the end they delivered the project for me to test and it was ready to go.

The commitment. They didnt hesitate on taking this challenge and executed very well. Very friendly, responsive, comprehensive. Excellent communication skills. 10/10. I found a trusted provider for my next projects.

I would like to establish a more structured way of working like using a project management tool or to have set a more structured cronogram, scheduled calls. But I guess the lack of these was more related to the project circumstances so I was not discouraged by the lack of them.

We needed a Proof of Concept for an XR application to display target locations within an VR/XR display in relation to the user's location. The targets needed to be able to have simulated movements, and altitude changes.

Everything was delivered on time with ample communication from the team every step of the way. Any additional items that we came across, the team was very swift on finding a good resolution.

We met with several other development teams and none seemed to have the same sense of eagerness to learn more about our issues and help find creative solutions for our issues. They were open on our initial call that they did not have all of the answers, but had ideas on how this could work and seemed dedicated to finding a solution.
