We brought on Metacarbon to redesign our entire website, including: - All of the pages on our website (homepage, pricing, about us, all feature pages, all use case pages, etc.)- Rework the information architecture on the site (including a redesigned nav bar)- Create animations (including individual animations for high value pages and a new video for our homepage hero section)The redesign focused on creating a completely new design system that felt modern, sharp, and a more playful than where we started. The redesign included font, colors, design styles, etc.

We launched a completely redesigned website within 2 months of starting the project which was an absolutely incredible timeline + output. Subjectively, our team feels that our message is clearer, our design style feels much more modern and trustworthy, and manuevering through our website feels more streamlined.

The team was quick and incredibly responsive. We had a lot of requests for feedback (some very specific and some very high level that came pretty late in the design process) and the team was quick to adapt to our asks and deliver on new requests within 24-48 hours. Their communication was clear, and they were very quick on their feet in the face of changing needs/requests from our end along the way.

We were incredibly impressed both how fast and how well the team worked. They delivered on new concepts, ideas, and asks at a super fast pace without sacrificing on the quality of the work. The team was also easy to work with along the way. They were quick to adapt and easy to go back and forth with when it came to sharing feedback/requesting changes/etc.

Every once in a while there was a section of a redesigned page that maybe reused the same icons multiple times, but much of that I think is more because of our incredibly ambitious timeline than anything the Metacarbon team could improve on.

Metacarbon where thorough and transparant throughout the project, providing clear timelines and estimations based on our requirements. Their turn-around time for applying feedback and adjusting wireframes, user flows or general designs was stellar. During the course of the project, they maintained a solid performance and feedback loop, ensuring any potential risks were mitigated and highlighted early on while still maintaining strong communication with myself and senior management. I felt confident and comfortable with Metacarbon as I knew they could be trusted to deliver any required assets on time and to a high standard, and feedback provided was assessed and applied the same day resulting in almost immediate changes.

We hired Metacarbon to complete an end-to-end redesign of our MVP patient-facing clinical trial matching application, including layout, interaction, user flows and navigation. We had already built a preliminary product for demo use but did not have most of the intended user flows captured by the product and had a significant challenge in designing for navigation of such a complex product targeting lay users.Key deliverables:

Design consistency and quality:

All deliverables have been completed on schedule (some we specifically requested to extend beyond allotted time), allowing development team to proceed without delays. Roman was an incredible lead in understanding our product, setting up the framework for the project and helping us define the full scope of work through each phase of this project, including clear objectives and deliverables. We came in with a limited amount of documentation and with informal product representation, and they were able to really skillfully meet us where we were at and organize the full scope of work with clear estimation of timelines. Yaroslav was incredibly diligent about communicating progress and was always clear when a request for additional work/ iteration would delay our previously set timeline.

We've been incredibly impressed by their ability to collaborate with us seamlessly, despite the significant time zone difference. Initially, we were concerned about the challenges this might pose and even considered requesting weekly video syncs.

We were originally only going to work with Metacarbon to do a simple revamp of our web app and prepare for our 2.0 launch. However, after working with them and seeing how fast and well Metacarbon worked, we decided to work with them over hiring a full time in house designer. We've worked with two of their designers very closely – Max and Olya. Max is one of the co-founders of Metacarbon and Olya is a designer at Metacarbon. They were both amazing, had a deep understanding of our product, and moved exceptionally fast.

Launched a completely new landing page, mobile app, and the "2.0" version of our product that our users loved.

Extremely effective. We have a dedicated shared Linear workspace where we track tickets. We also have a shared Slack channel where we provide asynchronous feedback to each other. Communication and workflow is spot on.

Their speed of execution. It's like nothing we've ever seen before. We've worked with a handful of full time designers, and other agencies. Metacarbon is the most no non-sense group of designers you will come across. They really don't trade off speed for quality, because they usually do both really well.

Not really. The only thing that's mildly inconvenient is that they are in a completely different time zone, but we find ways to work around that.
