The dev team was responsible for TMS development, resolving critical codebase issues, and optimizing AWS configurations. They also handled the integration of the TMS with HubSpot CRM. The new solution addressed key pain points such as infrastructure cost optimization, real-time syncing of customer and shipping data, and setting up a CI/CD pipeline.

By optimizing the AWS configurations, they managed to cut down cloud costs by 140%, which was a huge win. The platform also became much more stable, server load dropped by 90%, and everything started running smoother. Thanks to the integration with HubSpot CRM, the team is now saving around 20 hours of manual work every month.

Despite the Waterfall methodology on the project, KITRUM also brought Agile practices to provide an even more efficient workflow. They proposed 15-minute daily stand-up meetings in Google Meet for project communication and addressing roadblocks. Also, we adopted weekly elaboration calls for deeper strategy questions, bi-weekly planning calls to align on upcoming tasks, and bi-weekly demo calls for stakeholders. I'm the managing partner of Mindecs, a software engineering company that cooperates with different brands as a staff augmentation partner.

As mentioned, we mostly provide staff augmentation services. However, we sometimes receive requests to undertake full development projects. In these cases, it's very likely that we outsource a partner to deliver those projects for us. For this engagement, we had two important projects in fintech and IT management, so we needed more people to join us quickly. We required a trusted partner like KITRUM to help us with that task.

We've been working with KITRUM for the last three years. Recently, they collaborated with us on two big projects. The first project was a Ruby-based backend development of a project management software intended to assist developers in improving software development lifecycles.KITRUM developed the entire backend of that product using Ruby, as well as JavaScript for the database. Their work included backend engineering and testing implementation after deployment. Moreover, they were in charge of creating API documentation for clearer communication in case of future development work. The team also provided deployment support for the product's launch.The second project is in the fintech domain. KITRUM has worked with us to create web and mobile versions of a financial platform using React and React Native, as well as some DevOps integrations. The deliverables have included a web app built in React and a mobile app built in React Native. Additionally, they've helped us with functionality testing, integration testing, documentation, and deployment support.In addition to that, we've worked with KITRUM to develop a DevOps methodology for the maintenance of our CI/CD pipelines. We've also provided them with multiple environments for the integration of our security practices. The technology stack we use for our projects includes AWS, React, Scala, PHP, and React Native.

We've worked with around five teammates from KITRUM. Their team includes a project manager and some developers.

As mentioned, we've been working with KITRUM for a long time. We originally found them through an online search. Initially, we started working with them on small projects. We eventually started giving them bigger projects. Now, we send them some projects to work on, and they also send us some other projects. We've become partners over time, and we even exchange capabilities when required.

We began working with them in January 2021, and our partnership is still ongoing.

KITRUM is very proactive. They don't blindly do the job; instead, they try to analyze and dig deeper into the problem and propose best practices whenever possible.

KITRUM is very good at communicating. They're transparent about progress and team management, and they deliver on time. Moreover, their work fits our budget. As for collaboration tools, we use Slack, Jira, Zoho People, ClickUp, and email. We also use other messaging apps like Skype to communicate. From time to time, we have virtual meetings on Google Meet to sync ups and demos.

I would like to give a shout-out to Valia (Head of Partnership) and Alina (Partners Manager). They're very good managers and very responsive. They've managed every project from beginning to completion.
