I’m a member of the founding team of Nomiss Technologies, a consumer technology company building a personalized sports app for the Indian market. The product is multi-sport and currently pre-launch, with a public launch planned for the second half of 2026.

We engaged GeekyAnts as our design and development partner to take Nomiss from concept to a launch-ready product. Specifically, we brought them in to translate our product vision into a detailed product specification and feature set, to design the full user experience and wireframes for the app, and to build the product for our planned launch.Our core objectives for the engagement were a clear, well-structured product specification we and the team could build against; a clean, intuitive design for a multi-sport consumer app aimed at Indian users; and a development partner who could deliver a reliable, launch-ready build on time. GeekyAnts is our design and development partner for the Nomiss app. Their scope spans the product specification, the full feature listing for both the user app and the admin side, end-to-end UX and wireframe design, and the development and build of the product. The work runs in structured phases with regular review points, with our founding team setting product direction and GeekyAnts delivering the specification, design, and build.The engagement is structured around phased deliverables. To date, the key deliverables from GeekyAnts include the product specification document and the detailed feature listings for both the user-facing app and the admin side, which together define what the product does and how it is scoped. The design and wireframing work for the app is in progress, covering the end-to-end user experience for our multi-sport consumer app. The development and build phase follows the design phase, so completed app features will come as the build progresses toward our planned launch. The engagement runs with regular review checkpoints between our teams at each stage.

The project is still in its design and build phase, so the meaningful measures at this stage are milestone progress rather than live product metrics. On that front, the project has moved at a steady, structured pace: the product specification and feature listings for both the user app and the admin side have been completed, the design and wireframing work is well underway, and the project has progressed through its review phases on schedule. The collaboration has been responsive, with regular review checkpoints keeping both teams aligned. Performance-based outcomes will become measurable once the product is built and launched later this year.

Are there any areas they could improve?
It has been a positive engagement overall, so this is more of a refinement than a criticism. With a fast-moving project and several review sessions, the one area we would highlight is keeping decision records fully consolidated. As scope evolves across multiple discussions, having every decision captured in one consistently updated place makes it easier for everyone to stay aligned. GeekyAnts already documents well; tightening that single-source-of-truth habit further would be the main thing. Beyond that, the structure and communication have been strong, and we have no significant concerns.
